Heritage Oak Winery Art Fair & Concert

Saturday, June 19 :: Aiko Designs will be at Heritage Oak Winery Art Fair & Concert at the winery in Lodi, CA. Peruse and purchase the works of twenty local craftsmen and artists in the shade of the Heritage Oak Hummingbird Garden. Runs from 11:00 AM to 4:30 PM. (map)  Also enjoy music, food and wine!

Heritage Oak is a boutique winery on land that has been in the owner Tom Hoffman’s family for five generations.  The winery has a range of offerings including Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Tempranillo, Zinfandel, and Syrah. Along with a great history and variety of wines, they have developed a hiking trail from the tasting room down to a secluded beach along the Mokelumne River where you can enjoy a quiet picnic.

Charity Fashion Show this weekend at Stanford

Aiko Designs is participating in the Charity Fashion Show at Stanford!

What? the largest fashion show on the West Coast.

When? SHOW May 15th @ 8pm | DESIGNER SALE May 16th from noon-4pm

The Good Stuff? CFS will donate all proceeds and Aiko Designs will donate 10% of sales to Kiva, a micro-finance non-profit organization!

The Good | This year, Charity Fashion Show will donate all proceeds to Kiva, a micro-finance non-profit organization. Kiva, founded by Stanford alumni, aims to alleviate poverty by connecting people through lending. At Kiva.org, individual lenders can make person-to-person micro-loans to unique entrepreneurs around the world. Charity Fashion Show is pairing up with Kiva to fund loans specifically designed for entrepreneurs in the fashion and garment industry.

The Show | Charity Fashion Show is a premier fashion event that takes place each May. Charity Fashion Show pushes the envelope of West Coast fashion with its creative, innovative runway show and editorial and commercial photography campaigns. Founded on principles of multicultural arts promotion and dedicated to fostering a more ethnically diverse concept of beauty, Charity Fashion Show brings people, opportunity and fashion together from far corners of the globe into one tent.

Feria Urbana May 7th @ The New Parish

Mother’s day is on May 9th, so don’t forget to pick her up something fantastic and locally made at Feria Urbana Friday May 7th. Oakland’s Art Murmur is happening as well that night – it will be a great evening to be out and about!

Marin Store Sample Sale | May 1st, 9am-4pm

The Marin Store Sample Sale was such a success, we’re doing it again!  Please join Aiko Designs along with some fantastic artists, designers and producers at the upcoming sale at the Marin Country Mart (map) (formerly called Larkspur Landing) next to the Marin County Ferry Building.  Saturday, May 1st from 9am – 4pm.

SF Mission Spring Open Studios

Mark your calendars for San Francisco’s Mission District’s annual Spring Open Studios — April 23-25!  I’ll be participating at my studio (744 Alabama St., studio #302).  As always, there’s an opening party (not to be missed) on Friday night from 7-11pm — hope to see you there!

Bridal Event at Circle & Square in SF

Circle & Square, a jewelry and accessories boutique in the swank Laurel Heights neighborhood of San Francisco is hosting a spring bridal event starting with a suaret at the store this Thursday (March 18th) from 10am-6pm with cake and champagne!  The event runs until the beginning of June.
